Fall 2007: Boys/Girls Club Soccer Tryouts
IntroductionThe following is information about scheduled tryouts for the upcoming Fall 2007 season. Contact information as well as related team links are provided. Please note that due to rules governing the timing of tryouts as well as team registration filing deadlines, there are but a few weeks available for running tryouts and registering a team with a league. Don't assume you can wait to make alternative arrangements. If you can't attend a tryout session or otherwise need to contact a team manager / coach, please use the contact information below.
Coaches and team representatives should follow the state guidelines:
- 2007-06-04: Tryouts for U14 and younger teams in Southeast Wisconsin may begin.
- 2007-06-11: Tryouts for Girls U15+ teams in southeast Wisconsin may begin.
- 2007-07-02: Tryouts for Boys U15+ teams in southeast Wisconsin may begin.

Team Background:
The
Fall 2006
team captured the Wisconsin Premier League championship and looks to continue
focusing on delivering a quality soccer experience for players and their families. (The
2005 team
captured the U-17 Wisconsin First Division League championship.)
The Spartans have been coached by Issy Martinez since U-11 and
have benefited from a dedicated, core group of players for the
past several years.
Unlike any other team in the area, this team is dedicated
to helping established players reach their full potential and gain
exposure to college scouts and recruiters. To this
end, the U-18 Spartans will be competing in several showcase
tournaments during Summer/Fall 2007.
Also, the U-18 Spartans work with ACE-SOCCER.com
to publish player profiles as well as Player Profile DVDs. This
information is readily available to college coaches and other
interested parties.

A Fall 2007 team will NOT be formed because of a low turnout at tryouts.

STATUS:
Player selections finalized on June 11 2007 and fifteen players
have accepted the call to join the team. A team meeting will be
scheduled for later in the week.

High School Age Boys:
STATUS:
Tryouts held on July 09, 2007. Final roster selected for U-17 team only.
BACKGROUND:
Looking to form two high school age teams in the same format
as the Spring 2007
Boys U-16
and
Boys U-18
teams. These squads trained together, producing a synergy that helped to
improve the play of both teams. The U-18s competed at the Premier level
while the U-16s played at the First Division. Training sessions were
focused and carried out at a high level of intensity.
