COMMENTS & THOUGHTS
From The Player: I wil do whatever it takes to excel in school and in my sport.
From Coaches: I had the pleasure of working with Emily this Spring! Emily was a freshman who started on the Cedarburg High School Girl's Varsity Soccer Team. The most innovative characteristic about Emily is her coachability. Emily is constantly trying to find ways to improve herself. She wants to succeed and she wants to make herself a better player. She continuously gives 110% and strives for perfection in all that she does. Emily's strengths include her field awareness, her strength on and off the ball and her desire to learn. Emily was our stabilizer in the central midfield. She was up to any task we gave her, which included marking the conference's player of the year, all-state and Division I college recruit this year. Emily had a fantastic 2005 season and will only continue to grow as an athlete. - Joellen Bystol, Cedarburg H.S. Girls Varsity Coach

Emily is a key of the pause & attack and knows how to measure the moment for each. Emily transmits serenity in attack, constantly participates in the process of creating plays. Works logically with the zone defense to recover the ball. - Cacho Cordoba

I coached Emily for two years and in those two years I have never seen someone that is more dedicated to the game. She is always looking for ways to improve her skills, by coming to practice early or staying later. Emily puts in 110% at every practice and leaves her heart out on the field after a game. She played mostly sweeper with an occasion moving into the central mid-field. Her speed is a plus especially playing defense where she can make up ground if needed. But usually she was a WALL, a majority of the time her opponents were frustrated by her physical play. . . After each game, at least the coach or a parent from the other team gave Emily a compliment on how well she played. . . John Zizzo
