Waukesha Catholic Memorial faced off against the Muskego Warriors in the Laura Moynihan Tournament championship match on April 26 2008. The 2008 tournament, hosted by Waukesha Catholic Memorial, was held at the Soccer Complex of Racine (SCORe) and featured teams from Evanston IL, Madison and Neenah. The southeast conference was represented by Kenosha Tremper and Muskego.

The championship game was an evenly matched affair with both teams getting scoring opportunities on a windy late April afternoon. Waukesha scored midway through the second half to take a 2-1 lead and held on to win by the same score.
