Wisconsin Fall 2008 State Cup
The Wisconsin Fall 2008 State Cup preliminary matches were held in Stevens Point
Wisconsin during the weekends of Sept. 13 and Sept. 20. Quarterfinals were held
on Sept. 21 with championship matches held during the week of Sept. 22.
Of local interest, the Girls U-16 United FC/Southeast United went undefeated in
preliminary match play before losing to Madison 56ers Red in the quarterfinals.
Fall 2008 State Cup champions will represent Wisconsin during the 2009 Midwest
Regional (Region II) championships to be held in Sioux Falls S.D. The Boys State
Cup tournament along with pre-high school girls will be held during May 2009.
